Everything you share with Find the Words is yours. Whether you're practicing a difficult conversation, exploring your emotions, or asking for help finding the right words, we treat your information with care and respect.

Your personal information, conversation history, and reflections are never sold to advertisers or data brokers. Our business is helping people communicate more clearly—not monetizing their private conversations.

The guidance and communication suggestions provided by Find the Words are generated using artificial intelligence based on the information you choose to share.
To create that guidance, what you write is sent to a specialist AI company that processes it and returns a response. If you upload a screenshot instead of typing, that image is sent the same way — so anything visible in it goes too, including a name or an address that happens to be on screen. We don't run these AI models ourselves: our app platform connects us to established providers and controls which one handles each request, so it may not always be the same company. We don't add your name or your email address to what we send.
Our goal is to help you communicate with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence—not to replace your judgment or make decisions for you.
You remain the author of your relationships, your conversations, and your choices.
To improve the app and build new features, we look at how it is used — which features people open, whether something worked, how long it took. This is product analytics (feature use, funnel, and performance): behaviour only, never conversation content. We do not analyse what you write.
We use PostHog for this, hosted in the European Union (`eu.i.posthog.com`). Your activity is recorded against a scrambled code rather than your name or email address, and we study it in aggregate. Because that code stays the same for your account, we describe it as pseudonymous rather than anonymous — not linked to your identity, but not entirely disconnected from it either. We treat it with the same care as everything else you trust us with.
Find the Words is designed to help you build lasting communication skills—not lifelong dependence on the app. We hope that each conversation, reflection, and practice session leaves you feeling more capable of understanding yourself and expressing yourself with clarity, courage, and grace.
